Accesso alla biblioteca
L'ingresso della biblioteca si trova al piano terra del Polo "A. Vallisneri" e non ci sono barriere architettoniche.
È necessario prenotare il posto a sedere tramite l'App Affluences o attraverso Affluences via web. All'arrivo in biblioteca bisogna convalidare la presenza, entro 30 minuti, tramite la scansione del QRcode presso il bancone.
La biblioteca ha 102 posti a sedere. I posti prenotabili sono 100. I posti 99 e 100 possono essere prenotati da una sola persona e usati per lo studio a due (1POSTOX2). Alcuni posti sono dotati di presa elettrica.
La biblioteca possiede circa 27.000 monografie e 2.300 titoli di periodici. La catalogazione delle collezioni segue il sistema classificatorio della Library of Congress. Il 2 agosto 2023 è terminato il trasloco della maggior parte del patrimonio librario presso il Nuovo Archivio di Legnaro (NAL). Restano in biblioteca, a diretta disposizione degli utenti, i testi d'esame (sezione "didattica") e una selezione di circa 600 titoli esposti in atrio.

Access to the Library
The entrance to the Library is situated on the ground floor of the building named "Vallisneri". The library is fully accessible to the disabled, being free of architectural barriers.
Access is granted to everybody, but you have to reserve your seat through the App ‘Affluences’ or ‘Affluences via WEB’. You can download the App Affluences from Apple Store or Google Play. Please choose University of Padua and then Biblioteca Vallisneri (or whatever library where you want to go). The first time you register to the App you will get an email, that you have to reply and confirm. That procedure had to be done only the first time. Then, through the App Affluences, you can choose your seat and how long you want to stay. We have also seats that are close to a plug for electricity.
When you arrive at the library you have to scan the QR code that you find on the desk at the entrance, that is to avoid keeping seats busy in case you cannot come after you have reserved. Remember that for that reason, your reservation will be cancelled after 30 minutes if you do not confirm your presence.
In the library reading rooms there are 102 total available seats.
The library owns about 27,000 books and 2,300 journals. Books have been classified according to the Library of Congress Classification (LCC).
